Why WordPress
Agency, freelancer or website builder?
WordPress is the most used system in the world because it is flexible, runs with any host, and can be maintained without writing code thanks to page builders like Elementor. The downside: anyone can build a WordPress site, and on plenty of them you can tell. Off the shelf themes, sluggish plugins, no structure for Google to work with.
A freelancer is cheaper and personal, but it is one person with one strength: design, or technology, or copy. A web design agency brings all of it, yet bills per project and disappears after launch. In the marketing subscription we build the site and then stay: your marketing manager keeps it going with the team, adds landing pages for campaigns and content for SEO, and you do not pay an hourly rate for every small change.

Questions about WordPress web design.
What does a WordPress website cost?
At agencies, a small site with up to ten pages costs 2,000 to 5,000 euros, a mid sized one with bespoke design and SEO 5,000 to 15,000 euros, and shops or large projects more again. Hourly rates for web design sit at around 120 euros. In the marketing subscription the website is part of the ongoing work from 1,490 euros a month, upkeep and new pages included.
How long does a website take?
A landing page takes one to two weeks, a small company website four to eight weeks, larger projects longer. The content is usually what holds things up, which is why we write it with you.
Can I maintain the site myself afterwards?
Yes. We build with WordPress and Elementor so that you can change copy, images and posts yourself, and we show you how. Updates, backups and the technical side stay with us if you would rather not deal with them.
What about SEO?
Web design without SEO is a business card nobody finds. We build load time, structure, structured data and content from the start so that Google understands the site. There is more detail on our SEO agency page.
I already have a website. Relaunch or start again?
We work that out on the first call. If the structure and content hold up, a redesign on better technology is often enough. Where rankings exist, we protect them during the move with redirects.
WordPress or a builder like Wix?
Builders are fine to get started, but they hit limits on SEO, speed and extensions. WordPress grows with you, belongs to you, and runs with any host.
